Join the revelry for the Oak Bluffs tree lighting ceremony beginning at 6:30 pm with caroling at the Post Office Square. The Vineyard Brass Ensemble will be on hand to perform a medley of traditional holiday carols and Board of Selectman Chair, Kathy Burton, will officially light the town tree. Immediately following the lighting of the tree, the public is invited to partake in holiday fare at the Dreamland ballroom, next to the Chowder House (upstairs) on Oak Bluffs Avenue. There will be plenty of hot chocolate, home baked cookies supplied by the PTO and free antlers for all as well as holiday music by the Brian Weiland Band and best of all, a visit from Santa and his helpers.
