We stayed at Hob Knob Nov 17th & 18th. We loved it, and your meticulous eye for detail is fabulous! We loved getting back to the Inn because it was so inviting, comfortable and clean.

 

Everything was so nice. The breakfasts and teas were delicious. Your staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We rented bikes. (The Hob Knob bike plates were a very clever detail too.)  I thought your motifs, the cows and Labradors, were really nicely done….

 

The eye for detail was so....inviting. I didn't see a speck of dust or inkling of mold in the bathroom; the slumber white noise machines were great, the Egyptian cotton sheets were so soft, as well as the bed was so comfortable. I loved the smell of the sheets too! Nice job!

 

Hopefully we'll return some day. Meanwhile we'll tell our friends about the Hob Knob. Keep up the wonderful work!

Am happy to say that my memory of a serene boutique Inn from my last trip held up on this visit. From the warm check-in to the darling breakfast servers, there seems to always be someone around attending to your needs. Our room was spotlessly clean and wonderfully decorated. As with all of the common areas the decorating is beautifully unfussy. Dinner suggestions and reservations were graciously offered as well as suggestions for diversions from our main passion of shopping.  The expansive front porch is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with afternoon tea and a never ending selection of cookies and snacks. Don't mistake this Inn for a mom and pop overstuffed B&B! If you are looking for an oasis in a beautiful setting with wonderful staff to assist your needs, the Hob Knob Inn is the place for you!

We indulged in a post Christmas visit to the Vineyard and stayed at the Hob Knob Inn.   Nicely decorated with trees and other festive touches, the public rooms on the first floor were comfy and tea by the fireside was lovely. Our room was utterly spotless and the luxury touches like the down comforters and Bose clock radio were just what three overscheduled and exhausted women needed. The inn arranged for us to have massages in a room on the basement level and the skill and care of the masseuse was excellent.

Last month, I surprised my husband with a trip to The Hob Knob on Martha's Vineyard. We had a fabulous time. The people there, and I mean every one of them, were top notch and took care of us from the moment we walked through the door. The Inn was warm and inviting - full of little details. Every night we sat on two chairs nestled by a warm fire with either a cup of hot tea or a glass of sherry and freshly baked cookies, compliments of The Hob Knob. The worst part of our stay was the day we had to leave. We will definitely be back!!!

Having just spent a blissful few days at the Hob Knob Inn in Edgartown, we would like to recommend this treasure to anyone who may be traveling to Martha’s Vineyard. It is a small, casual but sophisticated luxury hotel, only blocks from the center of this lovely town – we walked to everything. The Inn is bright and beautifully appointed, and every detail is top-of-the-line. The pictures on the website are completely representative of the whole place. The bed was the most comfortable I’d ever slept in! The staff is friendly and professional and quickly responded to our every need. Breakfast was scrumptious, and afternoon tea had an amazing variety of sweets, which we enjoyed out on the porch. The staff is happy to give out the recipes, and we are still trying to duplicate those yummy scones…. A gracious, hospitable, and plush destination – we came home completely re-charged and looking forward to a return visit.

We were looking for a romantic getaway – this beautifully appointed inn is nestled behind lush gardens and is perfect in every way.  Luxurious rooms with fluffy pillows and French linens.  A chintz-y wrap around porch that’s perfect for an afternoon read or drinks before waling into town.  Plenty of cozy nooks to cuddle up in.  The breakfast, which is included, is simple and delicious and those cookies they put out during afternoon tea are addictive.  You will feel pampered just by stepping in the front door.

I want to thank your staff so much for the absolutely lovely experience my boyfriend and I shared at the Hob Knob Inn over the New Year’s holiday weekend.  I have been to the Vineyard many times, but never before to the Hob Knob.  I don’t think I could now stay anywhere else!  A special thank-you to Vera who helped us with dinner and activity plans and patiently answered all of our questions.  We definitely plan to come back and have told all of our friends back home about how great the Inn is.
