The Hob Knob offers two luxury rental homes that are available by the week year-round on Martha's Vineyard.   The Thaxter House, a former school house that was completely renovated in 2001, and the new Tilton House, which debuted in July of 2006, present the same casual elegance found at the Inn.   Interior design by Joseph B. (Trip) Ayers features English country style with warm floral chintz, fabulous wall and window treatments, distinctive antiques, and crisp cotton linens.   A gourmet cook's kitchen in each house is equipped with all you will need to prepare a feast - or have a chef arrive to do it for you!   Both homes have central air conditioning.   Spacious lighted and mirrored closets and roomy dressers guarantee a place for all your belonging to be tucked away.   Plush terry cloth robes, hair dryers, umbrellas, beach towels and beach chairs are all provided for your use while in residence on Martha's Vineyard.  

Both properties are ideally located in downtown Edgartown, minutes from town center, beaches, the bike path and walking trails, restaurants, shops, galleries, and the movie theater.   Whether for a family vacation, or a group of friends traveling together, each house provides the finest that Edgartown has to offer.   Daily maid service, use of the fitness center at the Inn, and an Island-savvy concierge on staff at the front desk of the Hob Knob Inn are all part of the package!
